FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

—————————–

Q: What is the difference between the 4 volumes of the practice tests?

A: They are 4 completely different tests. They contain different questions as well as different emphases on content. This means one test may be more heavy on some PE-style content, while another test may ask more about different PE-style content. The point is to give the test-take as much practice as possible. As the PE changes content consistently too, it’s important to be prepared for different types of questions and content.

Q: What does it mean that these tests are Version 2?

A: They have been revised from the previous, original version. If you have purchased these tests in the past, you should know that these are REVISIONS, and not completely, brand-new tests. If you choose to re-purchase the tests, you should expect to see significant overlap in the content with what you’ve already purchased from us.

Q: How long does my order take to ship to me?

A: There are two shipping options at checkout: ground or overnight? Selecting ground means that you should expect the package to arrive in 5 business days. I do my best to get the shipment out within 24 hours, and when it ships you get an email with all the delivery info. Selecting overnight means the package should arrive within 2 business days. There is obviously a cost difference between the two options.

Q: Who ships the package?

A: FedEx?

Q: What if I’m not a Paypal member, can I still purchase the books?

A: Yes, you can proceed through the standard checkout process as a guest. There is no need to be a Paypal member to buy the books.

Q: Are the test questions too easy?

A: No, not at all. They may seem less involved than a standard EE-style textbook’s questions, but that’s because of a very important factor: the PE is 80 questions long, and is timed for 8 hours. This means that each question can only require 6 minutes to answer. Some take a little more time, some take a little less time, but there won’t be wild deviations. The textbook questions are not intended to be answerable in 6 minutes, and can have a huge question-and-answer-time-variation. Our questions stick close to the 6 minute average. We are trying to simulate the test-taking experience, so the content has to be manageable in a relatively short period of time.

Q: I’ve seen a different version of one of your tests before, why doesn’t it match the current one?

A: We are making improvements all the time and doing everything we can to provide the latest and best content available. This means that the tests experience updates as needed.
